Filtering

If you take underground gear and refilter it, will that remove any of the actual steroid, BA or BB? or does it just remove foreign particles?

thanks.

it will remove just the particles but you will lose some steroid if you don't flush the filter with some oil. Keep in mind your concentration will change after flushing the filter with oil.

You have been on the money with your last few posts... I'd give you some of that karma shit if I had any...LOL!!

Alot of bros forget that whatman filters soak up so much gear and then you can't get it back.

I just suck in some air into the syringe and then inject out the remaining oil from the filter, and that has worked for me in getting a lot of the remaining oil out of the whatman filter. So it doesn't look like you loose that much oil.

Its a piece of cloth in there... pushing air into it won't get the almost 1cc you loss.
Its better to pre soak the filter by sucking up some cottonseed oil.

You wont lose much of anything of importance,,it will be fine to refilter. use a .45 micron whatman.

so when someone gives you a fina conversion kit for 100mg/ml is it not really 100mg/ml???

Ive had pieces of rubber go through a .45 filter and back into sterile vial, just an fyi. :)

i don't really see how that's possible.. pieces of rubber shouldn't be able to pass through the .45 whatman, unless the filter ripped somehow.
