Films that changed your life

Any of u guys have any films that changed your life for better or worse?

Mine must b ---- enter the dragon, .... its how i started my fighting,

ROCKY!!!!!!! anytime im low on motivation i watch it!! such an emotive movie.

that shannon doherty film....the something seduction or someting, where theres a murderer killing all these women...i lost my first (of many future) nuts to that film

dragonballZ if that counts is why i started learning to fight

tango and cash got me interested in guns

Fight Club

Remember that scene where Tyler hauled the asian guy out of the market and said if he didn't go to vetrinary school he'd come back and find him? Believe it or not, that hit home. Made me realize there are no good excuses to not achieving everything you want to in life. Don't be lazy. I could watch that movie every day.

"tommorrow is gonna be the best day of his life" ......wish I could remember the rest.

it may sound corny, but rocky kinda shows if u train hard enuff for anything in life you will achieve it ..... it makes u think anything is possible, ..... and also makes you feel bad about underachieving.

before high school basketball games I would watch Hoosiers the night before...i started doing it after one night i watched it randomly before a game and went for a career high 32 in a game...Unfortunately, I never scored higher (20 was the most i ever scored after that)

but it still pumped me up cuz my town is very very small like the one in Hoosiers...

But changing my life? Dont have one

KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEISELLLLLLL!!

Man, do you ever go off this site?:D

I wanna hear some more about ATL. Get at me

cos i got a frickin Java exam for Uni 2morrow, and i aint got a clue!!!!!! it pisses me right off! im on the old pro plus stayin awak, i think its gonna b an alllllllllllllll nighter ........ got another exam 2morrow! what do u mean working? like at work .... or revising?

"East 11th Street Pregnant Crack Whores #29"
Other than that masterpiece, pumping iron, schindlers list, saving private ryan, braveheart

Hoosiers was the movie my moms father always watched with me whenever him and my grandma came to visit or we would visit them in the summer. We would watch that movie then go outside and play hoops, while he told us stories about WWII and playing college hoops and semi pro ball with some old basketball hall of famers like the guy that played the "riffle man" Chuck Conors I think was his name, and the guy that coached UH years ago when Clyde and when it was Akeem not Hakeem.

I'll always have a fond movie of that movie. My grandfather was in his 60's and could still hit at least 90% of his shots. Back in his day he was the shortest man on the North Texas basketball team that could dunk(he was 5'4), and had the school shooting percentage and scoring record for a good number of years Long before the 3point shot was even a dream. I was impressed with his handling skills for an old man even from what I remember today his hand speed was Great

I once waged him a oreo cookie that he couldn't spin the ball on his finger for 30min, he did it of course, but told me not to tell my grandma about the bet since betting was a sin :)

Amazing a movie can bring back such vivid memories

I saw The Program and got fired up by Latimer(Andrew Bryniarski) Then I was working out at the Gold's in Venice, Ca and I saw him. I started talking to him and he was the nicest guy. We talked for like 10 minutes. I couldn't believe how nice and friendly he was. Not the typical movie star type at all. I was fired up after that to get all big and cut up. For those who don't know who he is, he was big skinhead in Higher Learning. He was the guy that threw the alligator in the shower in Any Given Sunday. He is in Pearl Harbor and in the new Rollerball.

id have to agree with Jeet kune do on this one: ENTER THE DRAGON would be the movie. after watching it, i wanted to train so bad, so i started taking some classes. i liked that line from the movie:
"boards dont hit back"
and you cant leave out Rocky 3, especially when they were playing 'eye of the tiger' come on folks, tell me you didnt start bouncing around and shadow boxed.

..."his dinner going to taste better than any meal you or I have ever eaten."

That was a great scene. Actually the book was even better. That movie had a deep impact on me. "It's only after you've lost everything that you are free to do anything."

From some of the piss poor english in some of these posts, I'd say they just connected a large Vo-Tech school to the internet..

Anyway, I would have to say Forrest Gump
It was Funny and gave me the insight to enjoy the simple things, and how whacked and quick life can go by.

Everyone who has responded with "Deep Throat" is a pervert and sickens me. How can you live with yourself knowing that you support the porn industry.

Give me a good love story like "Shawn Michals Up Your Ass" any time. The characters in that fine film truly love eachother!

i would have to say back to the future2 and the matrix. both films just blew me away! never was the same again.

So many..

Loved braveheart, but the one that touched me that most would have to be beaches, and only cause my mom died when I was really young also.

" are you an assassin, Captain Willard?.......Iam a soilder......you are neither, youre an errand boy sent by grocery clerks to collect a bill..." " They sent you to kill me.....they said my methods are un-sound........do you think my methods are unsound,willard?.............I, see no method"........".Apocolypse Now".....a masterpiece.....

The piston- about a young kid that was short but could dribble like a god on the b-bal court. great movie

Fight club- straight up, the shiznit. best cult film ever

Requiem of a Dream- My favorite of all time. makes me sad, not cry sad but like "wow......wow"

Revenge of the nerds

max hardcore's "the southern cross"

my life was forever changed when i saw american history X for the first time. that curb smile scene and the ultimately racist ending really disturb me to this day.

great flick

If this hasnt been posted yet I am very disappointed. Dead Poet Society. By far the most inspirational movie ever

Not really weak-willed enough to be influenced on that level by a movie.

Hmmm... Gangband Angels 5 totally changed my life....

j/k I do consider Fight Club to be a very influential movie for me, simply from a philosphical perspective.
