So I've heard lots of talk about how first the government will take away your gun rights then try and herd people to these "FEMA prisons"
( mostly sounds American related though there are some in Canada)

Dumbass NRA scare tactics.

Noone has the balls or power to take away privately owned guns or force anyone to live in some type of compound.

They'd rather pass high gun tax laws than knock on someone's door and get a good old fashioned ass whipping.

It was more of they will tell the people to go to these "Safe havens" probly due to a disaster, where then you'll be imprisoned. As for the guns they'll start banning certain models slowly dearming the people. I personally think if they were to try it would start a civil war of sorts.
