If you want honest feedback, here:
If you're playing for fun, it's okay. It has some catchy parts.
If you want to make this band you're job, you need to throw the listener a curve ball. There's a huge glut in the music world right now of bands that have been plundering from At the Gates and they all sound the same with absolutly no variation. Metalcore is going to go the way of nu-metal and grunge soon. When I was working as a reviewer, I seriously got like five American Gothenburg clone albums a week.
You're a talented guy and if you really want to play this genre, than go for it. But if you want to stand out, don't play by the rules and give us something that'll make us say, "Wow, I haven't heard a band do that before, I guess there's life in this genre left." Listen to some of the older stuff like Hamartia or As Hope Dies and try and push foward from there.
Anyway, that's me. I'd like to keep hearing what you got some keep us posted.
