FDA being lobied to crack down on compounding pharmacies

It will be interesting to see how this affects men and women on HRT programs. I for one am not happy to see the DDA and the AMA get involved in this arena. Even more disturbing are the lobying efforts of Wyeth and probably other big drug companies.

We need compounding pharmacies and they fill a vital need for patients. This is yet another sign that the FDA works to help keep big drug companies rich and stifiles competition in the market and individual choice

This will once again affect women and men in their ablity to tailor an HRT program to their individual needs. If you feel so inclined, complete the petition on the web site listed above.

Also, we need to raise our voice to making Testosterone a class III controlled substance. This is a natural non patentable hormone that has a great deal of potential for rejuvination and maintaining overall health. Through making T a CIII substance, the big drug companies are able to get the profits from the emerging huge future market for HRT programs.

Tell the FDA and AMA how you feel about their actions regarding HRT products

This is a complete waste of taxpayer's dollars. HRT reduces health care costs to the insurance companies and taxpayers. It is also out-of-pocket to a certain extent, so where is the harm?

I can easily design my own program using phar grade black market drugs if need be. I'm not stopping.
