What is your prefferred protein powders for cutting? I usually use Champion Whey, Designer and sometimes zero carb Isopure. Muscle Milk is great too but has to much fat in my opinion. What do you guys use when cutting?

SC - Forgive me if you already answered this BUT, do you take another protein supplement aside from whey? Something to help get your 6 meals in a day, or is all from solid food groups? I know your thoughts on dairy, but what about flax or whole wheat bread, organic of course........

ISOPURE is the best for cutting . ZERO CARBS , ZERO FAT , ZERO LACTOSE .

JUST PURE WHEY PROTEIN .

isopure for shakes and Tuna or chicken for meat

Ok I will stick to my Isopure. Where is the best place to get it online? I have a few places but just checking, maybe you guys get it cheaper.

Man, I love Muscle Milk, but its got a lot of fat.
You need the EFA's contained in MM..........don't know of anyone who has gotten FAT from flax..........Isopure makes me nausiated.....think I over used it about 2 years ago.....now, I can't even smell it.........I use ON whey....choc. mint is tiiiiiiight.

Isopure I found online cheap at muscledepot.com but I now get it at one of my local GNC's, $54 bucks for a 7 1/2 lb tub. Awesome price. I always thought GNC's had the same prices. Who knew.

Allthewhey's isolate is Isopure quality at a fraction of the cost.

The BOMBIEST flavor out that I've tasted is Cytosport's "MELON PATCH" protein powder (3 grams carbs/fat per serving, so it's not that bad, per 26 grams pro)

This stuff tastes so damn good, I keep mixing shake after shake............off the meat-rack delicious. This is my new fav. flavor, but it's COSTLY!

I switch between ON Whey and Pro-mix stuff. Both in chocolate.

Muscle Milk after workouts is good but has a lot of calories(as well as expensive). Hopefully the 'lean-lipids' thing is true ;)

It does appear cheaper , but some things isopure has
1. 750mg potassium
2. added subfractions (immunoglobin , lactoferrin {something that does come from a pregnant woman's brest speaking of that winstrol thread}, etc)
3. 7800 mg of leucine BCAA insteas of 2700

It's cheaper because it doesn't have all the ingredients

Screw it, I am following SC's advice and ordering some orange isolate from allthewhey.com, after thinking about for awhile I agree that Isopure makes me wanna puke. I took it for like two years and after awhile you just cant drink it anymore.

Cytosport makes all kinds of yummy stuff! I have a tub of Cytomax although I dont use it much except for post workout sugars. A Delta Force friend turned me onto that stuff, says those guys drink it all the time to keep energy going. I am going to have to try the melon flavor protein.

I will agree that isopure isn't that great tasting , generally I add sugar with some fruit juice and I can make it taste more like kool aid.

But I also believe that you should cycle your protein powders the same way you cycle your excersized , foods you eat , or steroids. Never continually do the same thing over and over.
