Fat% & Waist Line? Whats Yours?

Whats your body fat % and waist size at peek condition and what is it in your off season or walk around weight?

How long do you keep your peek measurements and body fat % for?

Spatts, question on your hydro.....I did it once at the university near here.....and since it was the first time, I found the whole process really tough.

How often do you get your bodyfat measured by hydro and did you get the whole "breathing your air completely out and holding it" thing down right away -- or did it take some time to get used to it? I found it a little frustrating not to mention was dizzy as all hell when I was done. And the tech was absolutely certain I did not push all the air out of my lungs in any of the dunks we did.

At rest my waist's at 30 1/2", sucked in 28 1/2", 18.5% bf. I'm 5'3", 141 lbs. I'd like to get to about 14% then hover around 15% for the norm. (I'm guessing...haven't been there yet).

I can't wait for my tummy tuck! Whaaaaaa... :bawling: I imagine I'll drop 1% with the tuck alone...maybe more, my belly is quite loose...kinda like right after you have a baby. But I can feel my abs underneath this mess when I poke at em. :)

Spatts ...I am thinking about the hair scenario and almost clutching my chest in an re-enactment! Poor thing; I feel for you.

I feel almost reluctant to do it again since I had not mastered the breathing thing. They had instructed me not to blow out until under -- and I just could not get to that spasm point you speak of -- I think my mind took over and just could not mentally get there. My husband is nearly a pro at it but I do know he talks of the chest thing....so I know I am missing the boat on this.

I am guessing since I am not a competitor nor athlete -- I really should not make myself nuts about it. My first test, which was 2 years ago was about a year into training, was 40 years old, 5'7 at 135 pounds and was at 29.6% bodyfat -- I was depressed for a week! I had figured my bodyfat was about 24-25%.....given that I could not do the hydro the right way -- I am sure their results were not skewed by more than a percent or two -- which still left me with 27.5% -- blah!

Today, I have not gotten on a bodyfat scale nor used calipers ever in my life.....from eyeballing, a few competitors and their coaches tell me I am most likely about 20% -- I am no expert so I cannot say...

I know little of bodpods....how is it different from the magnetic body imaging that can now be done -- or is it that same thing?

Sorry MrStamina ;) Just kidding around.

My waist is huge for a girl, and huger now that I'm, heh heh, "bulking", so I'm not going to tell you what it is.

I don't know what it is at contest time - maybe 30???

I haven't been interested in keeping my peak condition thus far - I go straight from contest to gaining, and the fat comes back fairly fast :( But so does the muscle :D

I'm at about 187lbs now, somewhere around 20% bf or maybe more - who knows? who cares? - I look fine, so that's OK. I'm 5'11". I suppose I'll diet for about 8 weeks or so from February, just to bring it down to a better sustainable level. I'd probably like to hang around 15% as a reasonable off-season level.

31 @ 7%...

lol

wow...8% BF by hydro on a woman is the lowest I have ever heard of by a non national-level + bber....nice
