Fat gain AFTER ceasing GH use!

Whacked

New member
Who here has used HGH and observed NICE fat loss and then gotten OFF HGH and observed an immediate return of fat? (or not?)

Comments?

I think mine was from the insulin (Humilin-R) I let run a lil' longer. When I came off of GH, I did keep running slin with gear. I noticed I started to get a lil' chubby in places, but I was also taking in 6-7 meals a day with 2.5 gallons of water, and supplements here and there throughout the whole day. I ate mostly clean throughout the whole time, so it did confuse me a bit. I thought it written off as to my body posibly adjusting to the chemical change with either digestion, new gear usage, or both/all. Not sure completely, but I have experience to what you are talking about though...

Here's what Nandi had to say about it at CEM.

I've never seen any research suggesting GH induces adipocyte apoptosis. It does inhibit lipoprotein lipase, an important enzyme involved in fat storage, and it also stimulates lipolysis, the mobilization of fat for use as fuel. The fact that many subjucts regain their original fat mass after GH use suggests to me that GH does not reduce the number of fat cells.

To quote briefly from one abstract,

"GH enhancement of the lipolytic activity of adipose tissue in combination with a reduction of triglyceride accumulation via inhibition of lipoprotein lipase activity appears to be the major mechanism by which GH results in a reduction of the total fat mass." (1)

(1) Obes Rev. 2000 Oct;1(2):73-86.

The mechanism of effect of growth hormone on preadipocyte and adipocyte function.

Hope this helps.

The only way to reduce the number of fat cells is liposuction. I have also read somewhere that normal--range HGH levels--either endogenous or exogenous--will prevent new fat cell formation.

Well.......with that being said, fat gain SHOULD return with the ceasing the of GH usage (lower levels will be resumed, fat gain should appear)

You'll love the fat loss while ON, just wondering how much FAT will return once OFF :(

Good Luck with your upcoming GH run. :)

Used HGH 2 times .....8 weeks ...and then after 2 years 8 weeks again .......But very low dosages like 2 IU EOD , fat never came back after stop using it . just continue with your training and eat clean .....fat will not come back if you do this

Fat cells are only formed at birth. Afterwards, they can only expand or decresae in size.

Not sure if this is correct information. I am pretty sure fat cells can increases in number until puberty is over with.
