It depends on the person's ability to create and store glycogen, protein synthesis, and lipid synthesis. Once the protein deficit is matched, the glycogen stores are full and the necessary lipids are replaced/used, then the excess is used for a variety of things--one of which is fat storage. Your genetics plays an important part. So does your diet, exercise, and supplementation.

ala makes a huge difference in my body apearance as far as carbohydrate intake. fat on the other hand doesnt stick to my waste line.:confused:

often a big factor..

in your case
ALA allows more carbs.. but since you are not insulin resistant (if remember correctly female fat pattern.. which makes it less likely also) less affect on insulin related fat storage..
