anyone drive a really fast car??

i have a 2001 corvette coupe with a supercharger, 3.73 gear differential,headers,spec 2 clutch, hurst shifter, exhaust system,upgraded drive train,ls6 intake manifold, and a fuckin loud stereo system supported by rockford fosgate and kicker. let me here of your fast ride. my car is dynoed at 520 to the rear wheels aint that sweet.
 
My brother is shortly leaving for spain, he has a 97 Toyota supra with a single turbo upgrade. Of course he has done alot more to it, but shortly after running a few dynos to fine tune everything, he generated little over 700hp, it will soon be mine :-)

Single Supras are badass. It was an amazingly overengineered car.
 
2003 Viper Venom 800 ponies.....

It's supposed to run 60 in 2.7

Although, the best I've done is 3.8

I'm just not that good of a driver I guess. :)
 
hey blkdragon it has a vortech supercharger and davenports in calgary alberta did it. they do a sweet job all they do practically is vettes
 
Any car (especially imports) wil boost their psi on their turbo so they can get bigger numbers only to go up against a less powerful american car and get its doors blown off...
 
I would regularlly run my TransAm under 13 seconds in the quarter mile. I'd say that's fast.
 
Had an 88 5.0 that would run low 13's
Had a 72 nova that was pushing about 395hp

Nothing incredibly fast, but still very fun to play with
 
get on kazaa and search and download (Toyota supra Turbo 800 hp) that thing is a true 874 rw hp/796 ft lbs...looks totaly street, crazy shit

There's no replacement for displacement. A supra with 800hp, I bet it has an american car rear-end in it, the stock one would shatter. There's quite a few american cars who will hit the 800hp mark and beyond....naturally aspirated.

In hotrod they built a 540ci engine with 1050hp with 10.5:1 compression naturally aspirated, and it could handle a 250 shot of nitrous (not "Nahs").

Saving for a 96-98 Viper Gts hopefully next year...

I had my old Metro Geo up to 86 mph once........... it really scared me so i had to sell it before all the drag racing killed me.

I had assumed this because supposedly there was some guy with a 300zx, twin turboed, pulling around 700hp and he kept shattering rearends till he finally put a for 9" in there.

300ZX is nowhere near as dependable as the Toyota supra. For example, cehck out http://www.to4r.com/to4r.html. Almost all of these cars pushing massive power still use the stock transmission, with only an upgrade clutch.

I'm note sure, I know one of the props sold for that much, but it was also a movie prop, with singed autographs, scripts, and all that other bullshit, but also had a 20k sound system... But in engine mods, it was probably around 20grand, but since then, cost on turbo kits have been cut drastically. See http://www.suprastore.com, they have a 1025hp turbo kit, including everything that is needed to install on a stock 6spd for 20K. BTW, that F&F supra was dynoed at 700(or750).
 
got my old 88 accura legend up to 120 on the highway, the girl I was racing in the 98 mustang GT couldn't shift for shit so that made it the most fun and fast driving experience I've had to date. Waiting till I get out of the military to go for something sporty.
 
2001 C5 Coupe, NOS LS1 “Dry” System (jetted for 75 hp.), HallTech cold-air, Corsa Indy Cat-Back, Pro Torque 2400 torque converter, Trans Go shift-kit, Bilstein shocks, lowered 1”. Best N/A time 12.83 @ 108.61 Best NOS run low twelve (can’t find time-slip for that one.) I have traction issues with NOS. I don’t have drag radials. All runs were on BFG KD’s street radials.

I also bought a 2003 SVT Cobra (supercharged) last November, but I haven’t done anything to it yet except change the oil to synthetic.

Oh and my wife drives a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. :D

As soon as i'm finished with college a viper will be my first purchase. Hopefully.

Right now, I have a fully loaded, 3.8L v6,.................Monte Carlo

This bad boy is pushing 200 hp @5k rpm.

0-60, maybe 10 secs, never tried.

I know, i'm a pussy

My daily drivers a Suby, but my love is still my 67' Chevelle in the garage. Only high 12's but turns way more heads than any rice burner! Way fun to bang that old Muncie!
