Fabulous Forties

Ok, there are 20s and 30s threads, so I had to do this. Hey, life begins at 40! Refinance that mortgage! Career transition? Still married? Or looking for that trophy bride? Kids are growing fast! Love that Classic Rock music!

Kids are out of the house. Money now goes to things I want instead of several whining teenagers who think they know everything. THey're now out in the world discovering the hard way that they didn't know shit at all. ;)

I'm not there yet, that will be the fifties for me. :)

I will be able to officially post on this thread on August 3rd. I feel at home here already :lmao:

Looking forward to attending my 25th HS reunion Labor Day weekend. There were lots of still-looking-but-divorced women and a lot of out of shape bros at the 20. Should be fun.

I have my 30th high school reunion next year. I plan on going there jacked to the max.

That's right. We are showing the youngsters on here that you can keep your spouse happy, pay the mortgage, have a successful career, raise teenagers, save for retirement, maintain the lawn and STILL have time to screw around on the internet. :)

hmmm... benefits of forty...

you are only halfway to dying...

Well you don't have to wait until 40 to start anticipating death. With your glass-half-empty attitude you seem to already have one foot in the grave.

Screw the nay sayers...

IF I die, it will be well into triple digits and my last moments will be after being shot by my jealous hottie for screwing around when I was supposed to be at the gym.

Silly boy, you start dying as soon as you're born.

actually I think you are learning how to live until about the age 21, THEN you start dying...

peak between 17-24?

I am smarter, better looking, a hell of a lot stronger, orders of magnitude wealthier and infinitely more loving at 39.85 years old than I was at 24.

Would I give up where I am now for another chance at 24? No. Not a chance.

okay 24 sucks (yeah it wasn't that great)... how bout 18?

But wouldn't it be fun to go back to HS or College knowing what we know now about women and life in general? It wouldn't be fair at all...
