Okay, so how the fuck do you make an avatar that has good image quality but is size-friendly for the fucking size requirement? I dont know what more I have to do to these things in photoshop but its NOT working! Its less than 20000 bytes but EF says NO it's NOT! Ugh. Pissed now. Great.

its easy. go to your profile. click on edit avatar. click browse. find the picture you want. right click on it and go to edit. then a window will pop up with your picture inside. click on image. then click on stretch/skew and resize how you wish.

a MAC??? I used to have have a g4 notebook. took me for ever to figure out how to use that stupid thing. I hate mac's.

try copy/paste it in paint or drawing program. search the top bar for a way to resize it and then save it.
