What appeared to be a routine traffic stop ended with the seizure of over 15,230 Xanax pills from the panel of a passenger door in a Chevrolet Impala.

According to Blair Foster, a spokesperson with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, the car was stopped on I-12 Eastbound about 1 mile west of I-55 for following too closely to another vehicle and the occupants seemed nervous as they talked to deputies.
