Explain 'kick-in' time.....

I thought that doing EQ/Decca would kick in in a few days, but I am learning that it takes3-5 weeks! Why is this?

If it a takes a long time, then wouldn't one want to make the first shot huge? I started my first 2 as a 'tapering', because I readt that is what you should do as well as at the end of the cycle.

Basically put, Each product has an ester attached to it. This means that for the given product to do its job your body needs to remove(hydrolize) the ester. Depending on the ester, some get removed quick(like acetate) and others take longer. Since deca has a long lasting ester it takes time for you body to hydrolize it and then after that it takes time to build up in your blood stream to high enough levels to be beneficial.

Taper is old school...

The reason why it takes so long to "kick in" is because of the release rate of the drug into the system. Deca releases very slow... So turnover isn't very rapid..

It will take you at least 3-4 weeks to accumulate enough from injections to reach your "theraputic" level.

My suggestion would be to double the dose for your first shot. That will accelerate you to your theraputic level

on the roid calc for deca I got the most stable level by putting triple the dose on the first injection. I'll try this next cycle with eq.

NO!

It means that the molecules leak out SLOWLY over the time period. This starts the first minute it is in your body, dude.
