Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure injectables will last a good year or two past the expiration date as long as you store them properly. Just keep them out of direct sunlight and don't store them in a hot closet or the glove compartment of your car through summer. Orals don't hold up as well, or as long as injectables, but as long as they're kept bottled in a cool, dry, (preferably dark) place their potency shouldn't start to degrade for a yr or so past exp date. Even then you can still take them, but the mgs may be a bit lower than when they were first bottled.
