Excuses for not drinking ALCOHOL??

Currently I am on cycle and therefore I am not drinking any alcohol. When I get off cycle I plan on dieting down, and doing some modeling shoots, there fore no drinking for that. My question is, what do you give your friends as a reason for not drinking? My friends go out and drink almost every night, and I can't tell them why I won't drink. If I tell them cuz of Gear, thats just stupid. And if I tell them cuz I want to be shredded for modeling they'll think I'm cocky / have a big head. (especially the girls) So I want to know what all of you guys tell people when they ask you why aren't you drinking. I've used the whole I can't cuz im on medicine excuse, but I need some new better ones. thanks guys

i just tell them that im dieting and that im trying to get my grades established......or get really stoned and go out but dont drink just drink water but it act like its alcohol

You have Acid Reflux and the doc said no no to alcohol.

Tell them that you do not want to drink. Period.

It might seem hard, but they will probably be too drunk to care after a while.

I have a strong distaste for alcohol, and almost always turn the opportunity to drink down. I have watched people drink themselves to drunken stupors(while I sat completely sober). Usually the people make the ill-informed attempt to use pier pressure on me. I have left drunk chicks out by themselves to find their own ways home in the middle of Hong Kong because it pisses me off to have to deal with it.

Tell them you are broke if you have to have an excuse. If these people are really your friends, just be straight up with them.
