"Everyday Muscles"

New member
I know that it is best to work out each muscle once a week. Most people would agree that anything more than that could result in injury. What I'm curious about are muscles such as abs, lats, traps, and calfs. I heard many different opinions when it comes to these muscles. I have heard people say that these muscles can be worked out every other day or even everyday. I work out my abs every other day, but every other muscle once a week. I was curious to hear other people's input on this subject. Are you better off working these particular muscles more than once a week???

Smaller muscles can sometimes be trained more than once a week, but I don't generally do it. I generally go by the rule that if it's sore or it has been less than 48 hours since the last time I trained that muscle, I won't train it again.

LISTEN TO MOTHER NATURE

I say listen to mother nature. If you think you aren't ready to train then don't do it. If the muscle feels 100% healed and can flex with no soreness then train it. Sometimes I do chest on monday and fridauy because I have enough time to heal. AS long as it is not sure train all you want. If it is slightly sore then don't train it. I am also from german decent and look really german so I sorta heal fast naturally too. Thats just my 2cents

I train a couple things twice a week (abs, back, chest). I run a four day split... So i just do four days, rest one day and then start over... it works out that back and abs and chest are done twice a in 7 days... I've been growing nicely, off gear, on this split so i think ill stick with it for a while
It's worth a try, if you can recover fast enough...

YUM

LOL! Ah yes. Weider's well-documented but always underappreciated "Ubermensch" principle, which states that Deutchlanders, especially those with fair hair and blue eyes can--as a general rule--bench press more often than members of the "impure" races.

I'm having visions of you goose-stepping to "Der Fuhrer's Gym". :D :fro:

Do you hit your arms once in 7 days? Does that seem to work for your arms? (Growth and strength?)

Thanks,

Are you lebensborn too? A member of the proclaimed master race? wow!

Here is a question bothering me....Drago in Rocky IV is supposed to be a prime example of Russian strength, but he is Aryan in appearance. Of course his genetic superiority can't be so great, as he is shown training in a high tech facility and taking a shot of steroids while Rocky only eats raw eggs and lifts the wagon over his head.

:) Man, you need to get some sleep! lol

I do see where you're coming from. I remember seeing that movie when I was a kid and being horrified that the Russion guy was taking steroids. I think I was almost frightened when I saw it. lol. Rocky on the other hand ... just the farm boy diet and 'world's strongest man' style lifts. I swore it could be achieved without AAS ... little did I know. They should have showed Rocky and the Russian shooting up together.
