Ever played a game called "Black"?

Man there's some of the best gun battles ever coded into a videogame in this piece of software. Too bad it didn't release on the newest consoles/PC. It's still damn good for a PS2 game though. I'm playing this while Call of Duty 4 is sitting on my shelf yet.

Yeah it was good. A few of my roommates last yr were addicted as fuck to that game. It was on 24/7 for a sec haha.

There's this shootout in the shower room of an asylum where you can blast the hell out of all the barriers that people are using for cover. Another part where you're advancing through a hallway towards a machine gunner and you can traverse side to side through the rooms.....or shoot your way through the walls on one side and then flank him for a surprise kill. All in all this is a stellar action game.

I like how war games are getting more interactive. Like how now you can shoot through light cover and subtle stuff like that...

I want to beat Black first, and believe me it's good enough that I'm in no hurry to get to Call of Duty 4. 3 levels to go, but yeah I played the prologue of CoD 4 and had a "Holy Shit!" moment, so if that's any indication of the rest of the game, yes it will kick ass.
