Ever been busted??

How many of you guys have ever been busted and what were the consequences? The reason I'm asking is b/c I work in the medical field, so I work under a license and I don't think they'd appreciate an arrest on my license. Too, HOW did you get busted?

Busted for what? Oh, you must think that b/c this is an AS related board, everyone on here uses them. No, no, no, you've got it all wrong my friend. You see, we're all in the medical field and doing scientific research. You, in case the world as we know it today may need us and our knowledge sometime in the future. As of now I have a BS in Physics and Anatomy, and I'm working on my AS in Synthetic Biochemistry.

#1..if convicted of a felony you will lose your medical liscense..you know that...
the people I know who were busted...

person #1...recived gear in mail...accepted by undercover local police...
3 years propbation, 100 hrs communtity service, $2000 fine...and felony charge..florida

person #2..invasion of house..1 amp found...pocession charge...drug classes for 6 months..florida
person #3..11 tablets of oxycotin recieved in mail domestic...NY
choice of 2 weeks in jail, or $5000 fine..person had previous drup record...also 1 year communtity service....

You have asked a very general question. There are alot of factors. The number one being possesion or trafficing and 2 state or federal.

If it is possesion it is a misdemeanor which should not affect your licensing.

If it is trafficing it is a felony and you are fucked. I am a licensed Real Estate Broker. Certified licensed Real Estate Appraiser. Licensed General Contractor and Licensed Residential Contractor. I would have lost everyone of them with a felony.

Your case may be different because your license is medical. I would speak with an attorney and see exactly what my risk were before doing anything.

For those of you who wonder why in the world I would ask that question, it's b/c until now, it would have never been a big deal (relative till now that is) if somthing happened. Now suddenly, when I start to order somthing through the mail, you start considering all the risk. Peace.

Listen man, no offense taken. I honestly didn't perceive your response as being that offensive. Looking back, I wish I wouldn't have posted the damn question I understand about the long, tough day though... I work in an ER and last night we were SLAMMED. I guess it's good that my question wasn't that popular b/c it shows that people are being safe on here. But in my defense, If I REALLY am wanting to know about the risks, etc.. who else am I gonna find out from other than you guys? Thanks bro for the apology and I hope ya have a better day today.

don't know if your a doc or nurse or what but I know that if my girl gets into any trouble with any sort of drug that she is kicked out of the nursing program , I would think that a similar result may occur after actualy getting out of school. I remember that one of her class mates was on juice and had to stop because of his job in the medical field.
I would check with you hospital's stand on the whole thing.

I'm an RN. It don't really have anything to do with my hospital's policy, it all has to do with the state board of nursing's policy. LOL, I think the first offense would require me to go to a drug class.. I'm only laughing b/c I can just picture myself sitting there being told what a bad boy I am for using juice and me havin to nod my head and act like I agree

I guess a better way I should have asked my original question is "what are the chances of getting caught if you order through the mail."
