Once the realization is accepted that even between the closest human beings infinite distances continue, a wonderful living side by side can grow, if they succeed in loving the distance between them which makes it possible for each to see the other whole against the sky.

There will always be distance between mother and a son, boy and a girl, friend and a friend. Those who keep these distances in respect, and acknowledge the fact that we are separate human beings, tied together by common interests, feelings, and blood will be on the path to the sky that you mentioned in your post.
