I am traveling in Europe this summer for 2 months. I have a question about the Eurorail Passes.
There are a lot of options, but I think I've narrowed it down to a Eurorail Flexi Pass. This will allow me to travel 15 days out of 2 months. The important thing is that with the flexi pass, the days don't have to be consecutive.
My question (to those who've traveled or live in Europe)...
Should I go ahead and get the First Class ticket or the Second Class ticket (under 26 years old)?
I've heard mixed reviews about the second class. Some people like it and say its fun meeting the other travelers. Others said you have to be more careful for pick-pockets. I also heard that first class is almost never full...meaning you're guaranteed a spot most of the time.
The first class option is about $300 more than the 2nd class ticket. Is it worth it?
