ester question

does anyone have a good link that would explain the different types of esters? Maybe a dumb question, but I was planning on using 500 a week of prop, and somebody flamed me because they claimed that 500 mg of prop was like doing a 1000mg of cyp.? I thought test was test, my understanding was that the different types of esters made the difference for longer or shorter kick in times and half life.

The ester is added to the AAS molocule, thereby increasing the molocules weights. The longer the half life of the ester, the more it weighs. To explain in basic terms, lets say that a molocule of test with no ester weighs 50 and the ester for prop weighs 25 and the ester for enth weighs 50. These are just fictional numbers to show the math. That means that if you had enth, it wouldweigh 100 and the prop would weigh 75. In the end, you would get more prop in a mg since there is less ester making up its weight. Not a very scientific explanation, but hope it helped.

another way to look at itwould be

as percentages. As molecular weight of the testosteron molecule increases with the ester weight, the percentage of the molecule that is actually test decreases, thus suspension contains the most test, followed by prop and then enanthate. If you want to see the exact differences( I computed and posted them on meso for test/prop/enanthate/cyp) go to
www.steraloids.com, look under products/trivial and you will find a listing of all the steroids and their analogues with chemical structures and molecular weight.
