EQ for tendon strenght?

razorback

New member
I was wondering if anyone on here has tried like a rehabilatating cycle. I know that most of you guys will say "DECA" but I was reading an old article by Dan Duchaine and he was say that EQ actually strenghtens and rebuilds tendons that is why you can sometimes get muscle strains on it. If this was true it would help my shoulders out. any one on here with experience on this.

For the most part, the muscle is supposed to give out before a tendon, muscles have much better bloodflow and repair many times faster than tendons. As for strengthening tendons, I didnt have much luck with EQ helping my tendonitis last cycle. Since then though, prolotherapy has allowed me 100% use with virtually no discomfort where as I could barely press before I started it was so bad.

Prolotherapy is a natural means if urging your body to repair itself. This is done by promoting inflamation of the tendons/ligiments in question which is what triggers the body to increase bloodflow to the injured area. Most people jump anti inflamatories at the first sign of soreness, and so did I. My preblem never improved. I started prolo about 2 months ago (ive had three treatments) and things have improved and im at about 90% I would say. I have one more appt next week and should be good as gold.

The localized inflamation is done by a doc who uses lidocaine and dextrose and injects it into the tendons/ligiments. I have been having my shoulder and elbow treated, bout 10 inj in the elbo and 20 or so in the shoulder. Leaves you a bit sore and you cant use anti inflamatories while getting treated, but if you have the patience it does work.
