Epherdrine = false positive?

I have been taking the infamous ECA stack on and off for years. Love the results once a tolerance to the sides is devolped. I have just recently started back on ECA and am being drug tested regularly for rec. drugs only. I am worried because I read (on several sites) that epherdrine can cause a false positive for anphetamines and the agency doing my drug testing would lock me up first and ask questions later if I end up failing a drug test. I am wondering if anyone has taken a drug test while on ephedrine and if so what were the results. Through my research i've only been able to find that ephedrine CAN cause a false positive, not how likely this is to occur. Maybe I am worried over nothing, I hope this is the case.

If you want to be certain go to a pharmacy and buy a home test, you will find that ephedrine will not give a positive for amphetamine. Years ago this was a problem but newer tests do not give false positives for amphetamine when ephedrine is present.

its correct that this could happen bro, but u do have a right to retest or give another specimen, the beauty of ephedrin and testing is that it has a fairly quick clearannce time so if u fail just sit tight and dont take the ephedrine u should also be able to list all otc drugs u take and u should take that oppurtunity to list pseudo ephedrine aka sudafed which should cover u if u test positive thats an otc cough med or decongestant i can answer most drug test questions so pm if u like

is ephedrine illegal now or just not allowed to be sold otc? i know they pulled it from the shelves due to people not following the directions and overdoseing but is it illegal? if so i would be worried about taking ephedrine and having to explain that your taking it and it gave a false positive. either way if it is illegal your screwed.

Ephedrine is not illegal when you walk the little card up to the cashier at walgreens to get what you are buying. You can Buy Ephedra.

wasnt sure if they went as far as making it illegal. thats cool though. i use to take it but i would crash hard if i missed a dose. it wasnt worth it to me. specially when i recommended it to a co-worker and she had hart palpitations from it. didnt know she had a bad heart. not a good way to find that out.

I believe it is around 4hours but this is only what someone quoted me who uses it frequently in powerlifting says it gives him an extra boost.

I hope u r right, if that is true should be easy enough to avoid any problems. I always know 24hrs in advance that I must take a drug test so as a precaution I have stopped taking the stack the day of the test. Really messes up my program but is better than the alternative.

I had just taken a drug hair test for work and take drines everyday and did not test positive. Just bring the bottle in with you on the day of the test and tell the lady this is the stuff I take for working out.

to be safe with the ncaa which uses the "gas test" the most sophisticated and proven in court u need prolly 48 hours max to get ephedrine out 24 hrs would prolly work but is it really worth it ?? trust me with the ncaa it will potentially ruin ur carrer depending on how much eligigbility u have and how pissed off ur coaches get if u piss dirty
