K Komo New member Oct 30, 2002 #2 Nope! Ephedrine will however lover your insulin sensitivity... This does NOT go hand in hand with building muscle.... I am a firm believer that ephedrine should ONLY be used while cutting... Insulin is the single most anabolic hormone in the body. In a calorie restricted diet however, ephedrine will allow you to maintain muscle mass by increasing the energy expenditure from fat tissue. /Komo
