Ephedrine ban for sports?

is ephedrine for sports ban? I have been taking it pre track meet, but when it comes to state if they drug test me and find ive been using it will they dq me? Where would I look to find out about highschool meets for washington state? also how long before the race should I take it? im using hydroxycut as my ephedrine based supp. if anyone can help let me know thanks!

you wont get drug tested in high school, i wouldnt worry about it. In college in the NCAA effedrine is a banned substance, but high school has no testing policy

I would have that stuff in your system for a few hours before your meet....it thins the blood and makes the heart work harder, hence you will be out of breath soon....something else that no one talks about this substance...these products dehydrate you deep within your body, the chance of pulling a muscle and/or tendon and legiaments are greatly increased!!! use of a good electrolytes are highly recommended as well as a lot of water...
