encrypted email

I'm not sure this is the right forum for this but here it goes. When i was a member a while back i had set up a hushmail account but after doing a quick search here i noticed it's been shut down. I don't want to ask anything that will get me banned or suspended. Could anyone help me out to a FREE encrypted email service that i can trust. thanks in advance.

Sorry i didn't clarify what i meant. I mean't hushmail is not worth trusting now that they spilled info to feds. I'm asking what is the most popular encrypted email service the guys on the board use?

I wouldn't trust a company to encrypt for me, I would use PGP or something like that. With PGP and yahoo or google mail, your emails should be un-crackable.
