emergency, bathroom door locked

aright so I wake up at like 5 am cause I really had to go, than i dont know what I did but I locked the door and now I cant get back in there

I dont wanna break the door down but this is not very cool

the door handle has a little hole in it where I try to shove all kinds of objects in but the damn thing still wouldnt open

i think its locked from the other side though and I gotta push something in that little hole on the handle in order to open it


anyone had any similar experiences?

Yes, you do have to push something through that hole, we used a knitting needle, but you may not have one of those lying about..

Take out the inside of a bic pen and stick it straight in the hole. Only works for push button locks tho.

You can hit the doorknob with the palm of your hand if it has those push button style looks, and sometimes that will unlock it.

I had to push the door slightly towards me and push the handle down

this came after several broken pens, some other little metal objects, one of those plastic flowers that is now severly damaged, a chop stick which didnt fit

I was also about to freak out and break the handle off but thats when I realised how retarded I was tried to do everything step by step..
