when you use EF, hush, and yahoo mail will these messages be retrievable from the user's hard drive or would someone have to get this from the actual email server? i'm assuming it would be the latter... any thoughts?

All the messages are stored server side. The communication between the user's browser and the server is encrypted (with EF, hushmail, and cyber-rights).

A subpoena would likely get the info...

They are stored in your RAM and cleared out when one of two things happens:

The machine releases that RAM to use for another program.

Or

You reboot the machine.
