eletric razors

is it possilbe to get a close shave with an eletric razor? if so what are kind are you using?

I use a Norelco. It works pretty well.

If I go for a few days without shaving I have to use a razor but my Norelco is good for touch-ups.

I use a powerful magnet to make everything stand out then trim stuff close with wire cutters.

I use the Norelco 6886XL. I would not consider a razor, any "closer shave" will be cancelled out within 3 hours.

I like the meter that tells how many minutes the battery has left.

I have 2 Norelcos. One is a 3805XL. That's my main one but I dropped it in the sink and broke off the clippers.

Then I got one of my grandfather's Norelco Rotatract 800RX, which has clippers that work, but then the whole thing stopped working.

In short, I'm fucked.

I used an electric for 2 years.. then went to regular razors.. then back to electric... now im back on Mach 3s...

I've used norelcos that get close enough.. not quite as close as a real razor, but close enough as long as you are not working on TV or something.

My norelco works ok except i have a curly beard and it can't lift all my hairs so i end up with these straglers that i need to take a straight and shave off after two days anyways.

i don't have any probs w/ shaving.. i have a very thin beard so it's easy for me... i would hate to have an ultra thick beard.
