Electric razors

i hate shaving with a passion. does anyone have an electric razor that they really like and get a pretty good shave with? prize is not a problem

I find electric razors pull a fucking lot with me. The only benefits I've had with it though is if I have a lot of hair I just switch it to beard and mustache mode and just buzz the stuff low enough to shave with a blade.

I just bought a Gillette Mach3 Power straight razor (you know, the one that vibrates) and it is awesome. If you want an electric, pay at least $200.00 U.S. (I said U.S. because I don't know where you're from) you get what you pay for.

Definently have to say the mach 3 is bye far the best razor out there.

How much better is it than the regular mach 3?

I only shave 2x a week with a razor.

When I shaved with the regular mach 3, 60% of the time I would get razor burn and I could only shave in one direction (with the hair) or else I would get in-grown hairs. Also, the shave wasn't close enough because of the fact that I could only shave in one direction. The Mach 3 Power shaves the hair really close on the first stroke, therfore I can shave in any direction after the initial stroke. Now I don't get razor burn at all, and my face is smooth after I shave and stays smooth longer. I love it. It is expensive for a blade ($16.00) but well worth it. I'm not sure if the blades are any different than the reg's (I haven't had to buy any blades for it yet) but I think I might try to hook up the reg blades and see if there is a difference. Either way, try it, I will guarantee you'll like it even more than the reg mach 3.

i wanna get a straight blade....things are pricey though, most are 50 bucks and up, and i would imagine they require some maintenance

I'd probably fuck up and kill myself with one of those.

OMG, I should so get one.
