i am experiencing pain when performing skull crushers and bench press, shoulder press, any pushing excercises really.

i warm properly up before every workout

any tips?

also, elbow sleeves. what do you all think, worth a try?

This sucks.

The only thing that will really work is rest. Are you on cycle? Are you using any AIs? Are you taking fish oil and joint support supps? Check out N2s joint support stack.

I use Blue Heat horse liniment preworkout and elbow sleeves and it helps me. My pain is in the bis and forearms though.

I had that problem about a month ago. Figured out it was basically tendinitis from over trained tri's. I used Needtos skeletal balm for a few weeks and switched to reverse grip cable pulls for a while. It's all cleared up now. If you use the skeletal balm put it on before and again after the workout. That seemed to really help. Do you do bench, tri, shoulder work the same day? I would if you're not. It seemed 2x a week was what did it to mine. Good luck

I had this problems and it was terrible. What are you considering a proper warmup?
I thought I was properly warming up, and then I read an article by Dave Tate, and totally changed how I did it.
for bench I now do 8 (yep eight!) sets with just the bar before I even put any weight on, concentrating on strict form, and elbow position (mine were too far out to the sides) then at least 3 sets at 135 for 3 reps, and the slowly add weight for multiple sets of 3 until I get to my working weight. Also I wear a sweatshirt during warmup to keep at it all warm. This has helped me greatly. I am still staying away from skull crushers for the time being, because I'm still healing, but I'm able to push heavy again, which is one of my greatest loves, so that keeps me happy.

One other supplement that has helped me quite a bit (and has many additional health benefits is fish oil...and not the capsules, but the actual liquid. I take 15mL 3 times a day (which would equal approx 45 capsules if you went that route). This is also great for lipids HDL/LDL ratios, blood pressure, and many other things.

At this point rest.

From there you need to use heat/ice therapy during this time.

Yes follow the warm up advice. I have had terrible elbows. Now for my own good I just do narrow grips and reverse grips for my triceps. TAKE CARE OF IT NOW. You might want to ditch skullcrushers or only do them sparingly like a couple of times a month.

yep im on cycle at the moment. tren a, test e and t3/clen. had some gyno issues that i had to use letro for which dried my joints out (probably what caused this i guess though i have always had to be careful with my elbows). im tapering the letro down now. im also taking heaps of fish oil and glucosamine

what is blue heat horse liniment?
