Eggs bad for cutting? 50/30/20?

I'm bascially trying to get lean, and am in the process of putting together a good diet which will work for me, for 6-8 weeks. One of my probs now is that I'm not taking in enough cals per day, only about 1800. Now if I started having a few eggs for breakfast, I'm sure I could get the cals to around 2000. But are eggs ok, if I'm trying to get lean, as long as I stick to the 50/30/20 carb/pro/fats diet? How about eating that many carbs? There seem to be many debates about the effect of carbs on cutting.

Read the board!!!!! Everyone person in here has eggs in their diet. It is one of the best foods out there for protein. Some people just use the whites and some people eat the yokes as well. I think I am eating around 4 a day at least and I eat the yokes with them.

I am cutting right now and showing good progress. Had a lot of work to do so I am still a ways away from my goal.

Eggs are definately part of my diet.

1 with yoke
3-4 without yoke

for breakfast

If you are wanting to cut run your meals around these things and you should do fine.

Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Multi-Grain/Whole Wheat bread, Deli Sliced Turkey

With Chicken, there are a thousand ways you can season them for a great flavor to your liking and you will never have the same taste if you put your mind to experimenting with spices. The spices will not add to your cals/fat/protein/carbs hardly at all if not at all.

Hope this helps.

thanks barnes

ok that's great news, its exactly what I've been eating except the eggs. More and chicken more eggs is all I need to adjust I think, thanx for the great advice.

Speaking of eggs....

How or is there a way to prevent bloating after eatting eggs? I love eggs boiled, but man do they bloat me bad. Brocoli does the same thing.

Thanks

I have never had eggs bloat me!!! I am sure there is some way of getting rid of it though.

As for the eggs.....I stated earlier that I ate 4-5 a day. Well, I eat 5 everyday. I looked at my diet and I eat 4 for breakfast and 1 with my tuna or chicken salad. HB eggs in your tuna really adds something different as well as some good fats with it.

I personally love eggs and I don't think I could live without them. About 3 dozen a week for me.
