i hear different things from everybody. how much protein is in 1 egg white? does the yolk contain any?

This is because eggs come in numerous and assorted sizes. On average, however, one egg white contains approximately 3 or 4 grams of protein. And yes, the yolk contains some protein - somewhere around 2 grams.
