I know the effectiveness of gear goes down as you start to get in to your 4th and 5th cycle. Is this because your body is getting use to the gear or simply the fact that your nearing your genetic potential? WIll taking long periods of time off in between cycles help at all?
 
Its a combination of surpassing your genetic potential...after all there are limits and the fact that as you add more mass, you have more receptors. The more receptors you have the more gear you need to trigger them all. Its kind of like the bigger and stringer you get the more weight you have to push to keep stressing the muscles......ok, ok, lame analogy, but I think you get it.
