I did a search on some misspelled words, just to see the results:

In the Ironic Category:
Inteligence got 18 hits.
And
Steriods got 1027 hits.


What words can you find?

Quiet and supposed are often mispelled, but are spelled as quite and suppose so they wouldnt show up in a search.

same with words like "your" and "you're". Persons don't use those words at the right times.

A lot of people do in fact actually spell "a lot" as "alot" without realizing it though.

Yeah, but ask people how to spell I'm and they can tell you. They are just too lazy or don't take the neccesary time to put the apostrophe in when typing.

The vast majority of people on here and in the real world actually spell a lot as alot. Ask them how it's suppose to be spelled and you'll see they spell it with no space.

That's just slang, it's not neccessarily misspelled, but we'll have to check with the judges....

theres a difference between slang and mispelling a word

i say stuff like "gonna", "cause" (instead of because), and words like that

hmm, EF shocked me when i did my search. I thought for sure there would be 1000000 misspellings of "beautiful", but the worst i could find was 84 matches to "beautifull", which is almost excusable

If you look at this thread you willl find that only the correct spelling "their" is used, yet it was the third thread to turn up when searching for the wrong spelling, "thier."
