EC(A) when already a caffeine junky?

What is recommended if you already are used to ingesting much more caffeine than would be appropriate to stack with 80mg ephedrine?

I have been drinking at least 12 cups of brewed coffee a day for the longest time :(

I started taking 10 cups of green tea a day instead so that is about 1/3rd the caffeine.

Since evidence suggests that ephedrine alone does little for fat loss and that it is the combination of the two (plus maybe asprin) that produces results, maybe me caffeine receptors will be shot at this point and that i will not benefit from ephedrine + the amount of caffeine I am now ingesting?

On another topic, can anyone explain why NYC stack uses norephedrine not ephedrine?
