Eating fat after workout on ckd

i usually dont get a chance to go to the gym until around 8-9 o clock so when i come home i've only got one meal left in the day which consists of a protein shake and 1.5 tbs olive oil.
Is it ok to eat this much fat right after a workout?
 
I woulndt add any oil to that specific shake. I drink 3 shakes a day, and all of them I put in flax oil, except the last one, I put in dextrose, post workout.
 
well i cant add dextrose since i'm on ckd, but i could move the olive oil to another meal thats before my workout.
I have olive oil twice a day so i'd just combine the two servings for a total of 3.5 tbs, 49g fat. Is it ok to take that much fat at once?
 
I normally moved my fats as well to keep it from being too much at night. I dont think its too big a deal having it in ur shake as long as fat content is under 20g, otherwise, I would try to move it, and just take some 5HTP at night for any cravings.
 
yea... put it in your shake preworkout.... it will slow absorbtion of protein if you take it postwork (actually it slows it either way but you want it slow before workout).... you want your muscles to uptake it right away after a workout!
