I have gotten away from MRP all together, whether bulking or cutting, stick mainly to straight whey. I am highly thinking of going back to it just for post workout and an extra scoop of whey, I just plan out love the stuff. Anyone use it?
 
Nope, its just basically whey and maltodextrin, better off spending your money on whey or better still casein/whey mix and adding carbs when u need them.

But if your short on time and dont mind the cost its ok.
 
Yep, MRP's are not great post wrokout because of the complex carbs and slowly absorbed protein.

You need high glycemic carbohydrates to create the necessary insulin spike to deal with the catabolic hormone, cortisol, and fast absorbed protein to rapidly restore a positive nitrogen balance. A shake of Whey, preferably containing some easily absorbed di and tripeptide amino acids will be most effective at replenishing your depleted amino acid pool.

I might use an MRP after a cardio session though...
