i just got a IIIa from US Armor. light and durable, it needs to go.

if you own any, tell me which type you bought, and the price paid. thanks for the help.

I had a nice 3a vest with trauma plates and eventually traded it for somehting else (paid1200 traded for equal amount) I thought I get more use out of. I still want one for the heck of it but once I had it a while It didnt seem like a worthy investment for me. I thihnk it was point blank brand, it was one of the sheriffs models.

Post a pic of yours!

Whats the tensile strength of your Kevlar?

I have a kevlar flak jacket, its from the recent Balkan wars, its rated up to a .44 magnum but iys is thick and heavy. Just tons of yellow kevlar sheets inside the camo carrier. Its got a groin protection extension, which is nice.

It was around 250 shipped. I bought it off a US soldier who captured it in Kosovo during the Yugo wars. Its an inch thick, and its very heavy.
