Dry Plain Rolled Oats Receipes

I've been meaning to figure out a way to eat them without blending them up in a protein shake... here's what I stumbled across yesterday morning:

1 small bowl
1 spoon
1/2 cupish Plain Rolled Oats
1 tbl of Naturaly sweet Raspberry Jam (9 g sugar I believe 10 total carbs)
2 splashes of water to soften up the oats
- Add in a dabble of dry flax seed if you like (did this morning)

mix together vigorously to mix in the jam and water, and it is...

VERY TASTY!!

Has anyone come up with other receipes for plain old rolled oats?
 
1 small bowl

1 tbl of Strawberry preserves
2 splashes of water to soften up the oats
- Add in a dabble of dry flax seed if you like (did this morning)

mix together vigorously
 
1/2 C oats
1/2C water
1 C of strawberries
1 Scoop of chocolate protein
a dask of cinnamin

Mix it up, and put in the fridge over night, so the water can soak into the oats and make them soft.

Enjoy! :)
 
what with all the 1/2 cups?????????????????

Oh......good thing its the ladies posting............I'm moving up to 1.5 cups a few times a day. yeah, cooked, microwave...splenda!

lol well obviously you would adjust it for your needs. :)

Shit I'm up to 2 cups at breakfast. I was at 1.5 cups but it's a big difference from that to 2c. especially w/ 9-10 eggwhites. I feel like i'm gunna explode
 
1/2c oats
3 frozen/fresh strawberries
1cup water
I make as directed...
A little Vanilla, and a packet or two of splenda or stevia.
Then I mix in 1/2cup low fat cottage cheese :) Sounds gross, but it's actually very good!
Kind of like Strawberry Cheesecake!
 
Splenda brown sugar blend! awesome mixed in with oats and cottage cheese, and even a sliced banana if youre feelin saucy..

I had to strt blending them for awhile....then I got steel cut....oh man, heaven....1/2 cup is = 1 cup rolled, you can do 1 cup of steel with ease, no bloat!
