Drug Testing. DECA in system for a whole year!!

One major drawback to Deca is that it can be detected in a drug screen for as long as a year after use

read that on a couple of webpages.. does it show up in all drug testing like say you are applying for a new job and they make you take a drug test, will it come up on that drug test .. or does the test have to be special like to find anabloics in the body?

Not to flame you, but please use the search function in the future. The drug testing question has been answered numerous times on this board.

Most employers don't test for AS in their drug tests because it is more expensive than regular drug testing.

My understanding is that deca can be detected for up to 18 months.

If in doubt...ask the employer for a copy of thier drug free work place program....that will tell you the substance that they test for.....it is also contained in much of the pre hire information given to new employees....very few if any co. test for AS!

typically anabolics are not tested for..............but you should check their testing program as mentioned before.

Yes, these guys are correct, an employer will not test unless he suspects you of using and disapproves.

As far as deca being in your system up to a year. The actual detection time reads 18 months.

These detection times are for larger athletes with slow metabolisms.

I had a subject tested within 5 months of a deca cycle and he came back clean.

If you are tested for anabolics deca, next to the t/e ratio, deca will be the first one tested for as it is the most prevalant and the easiest for them to catch, due to the long detection time.

I know this topic has come up a number of times, but in the workplace prohormones cannot be banned because they are a legal substance assuming you live in the US. Sports are a different issue as prohormones are banned. Bottom line, even if they test for steroids which I doubt they will, if you come up positive for nandrolone, you tell them you're taking nor-andro, period. They have no easy way to tell the difference and I doubt they would pursue it.

We do have some rights left in this country and when employers start denying employment because of the use of legal substances, we have to take a stand.

even if detected positive for deca, you could get away with saying you just too norandro which is legal, and would make a deca test postive, or you could claim it would based on the fact they advertise it will convert to it even though i may not do shit for you.

Guys, sorry, the prohormone thing WILL NOT WORK.

There have been many studies done and although some athletes still, unsuccessfully, try to use it as a defense, there is no possible way that one could take enough prohormones to test positive for deca.

If you took a whole bottle the day of the test, it still would not be enough for a positive result.

but maybe your employer wont know that and you can try it.
