Dressing for a club

Anybody have any ideas what type of clothes you should wear to a club. I dress nicely most of the time when I go to school and stuff but im gonna start going to clubs with my friends now and I need some advice on what type of look im supposed to have and what type of clothes I should buy. If you guys can name some stores I should be shopping at let me know..Im gonna post this on the other board also...Thanks

Well it all depends on what type of club you go to. Some are dressier than others. I usually go with a pair of black pants from either Banana Republic or Armani. A nice fitted shirt is good, no cotton (unless it's real nice).Black shoes from Keneth Cole. Nice watch too. If you are a girl, I usually see girls with tight black pants and a backless shirt. Also I see some small skirts too.
