My prolactin levels are usually between 7-12. And I believe the reference range on blood work says it needs to be between 2-20
When I "used" to take dostinex at .5mgs twice a week. It would bring my prolactin levels down either 0 or 1. Yikes! That's low! LOL.
I have a friend that his prolactin is ALWAYS high! Within this year, he got blood work on prolactin around 5 times. And it's ALWAYS between 28-35! Way out of the range of 2-20.
He wants to take dostinex but doesn't want his prolactin to drop down to 0 or 1! LOL
So what dose do you guys think he should take? Just take ONE (half a 1mg tab) of Dostinex per week? .5mgs per week?
Would this bring down his prolactin levels to "at least" HALF of what he usually has?
