dostinex and High cholesterol

64Pilot

New member
Hey bros, I ventured over here, after all there is a wealth of knowledge here.

Does Dostinex AKA Cabergoline have any effects on CHolesterol levels? I am not using Arimidex or Femara at this time due to the increased CHolesterol levels. I take a annual physical, and last year I hardly squeeked through due to my increased cholesterol. Since Dostinex isnt a Anti-estrogen, I dont see it raising the CHolesterol in the same way. I have no idea if stopping ones prolactin will increase cholesterol or not...

Related question: I am wondering if taking Dostinex will also defeat Deca/Tren dick, even if there was no Test involved in a cycle. FOr any of you that are unfamiliar with Dostinex, read up on it. It does miracles with libido, in fact people taking it have experienced longer more intense orgasms, multiple orgasms, and little to no refractory period. I started mine today, mainly for the sex part, since im off cycle, also because it will take away from the GH bloat I get off 6 IU's per day. Thanks bros

Hi mate, I was on Dostinex (but off cycle) when I got blood work - cholesterol came out fine however I've heard that lowering prolactin and estradiol too much will have a negative impact on good cholesterol - can anyone else confirm / deny this?

Don't know about cholersterol levels but it is said to work wonders for deca/tren's sex related sides.

Exactly bro. Im hoping through the use of Dostinex, i can use lower doses of Test, along with my tren. My body reacts extremly well 2 Tren, but due to the Tren dick I am forced to keep my test dosage through the roof.

This is a good topic. I have asked on this forum (a few times) about taking dostinex simply for the libido effects, but have never received a good answer. Noone seems to know the true function of prolactin in men. Does lowering prolactin have any adverse effects ? Good question.

I am also weary of nad effects. Nothing I have read indicates that as of yet. I notcied in the warning slipt hat came with the dostinex, there was a warning about people using it with liver problems. It may eb hard on the liver, or that may be a standard warning with all meds. For the main medical use, I think pituitary gland tumors, the patients stay on the treatment for extended periods of time, if not for the rest of their life. HGHman( it hink is his name) uses it prescribed by his doctor, and had some good info when I did a search on it

I'm telling you, 64pilot, I have tried very hard to find an answer to the question about any adverse effects from lowering prolactin in someone who does not have elevated prolactin (I've never used deca, tren, etc). 1.) I emailed buy-*ostinex.com that question. result: they replied that they do not give medical advice. 2.) I emailed Dr.Ward Dean same question. result: no reply. 3.) I asked my local MD . result: he didn't even know about dostinex. His only guess for the function of prolactin in men was that maybe it is evolutionary. eg. maybe it is present so that men could possibly breast feed if a spouse was lost in the days of cavemen.... sounds wild, but I think men can actually breast feed under the right conditions. Anyhoo, I hope someone finds an educated answer to this. From what I hear, dostinex could be a great libido drug.

Yeah ot rox as a libido drug. 2 days into it man, the orgasms become intense. I will keep looking, and if I find something I will forward it to you

SPlit I asked the guy from buy-dostinex and this is what I got back

I do not personally know of any studies indicating Dostinex long term
may be harmful for one's health. Actually I've heard of a few guys
who already take low dosages for years. But obviously I can in
no way recommend such a regimn. Only a licensed physician
may answer such question as long term implications may
exists even in over-the-counter medicines and supplements.
So special care should be taken when dealing with prescription
medication such as Dostinex. In conjunction with a doctor's
advice and in no way as a replacement, but purely as a
self exploring entertaining approach, one may want to
check pubmed.com for research, studies and articles on dostinex or cabergoline.
Comments and updates on ones usage and progress are always appreciated.

Take Care.

Dear Bro,
Does Dostinex does all those wonderful things that it claims? What was your personal experience?

Pretty fcking close. My orgasms are intense as can be. My refractory period doesnt seem any shorter, but i have only been on a few days. I had some HG related water bloat, and that came right off immediately

Yeah – same as 64pilot. Dostinex is a good sexual aid and excellent combatant for AAS that raise progesterone / prolactin. It boosts sex drive, enhances / intensifies orgasm and allows you to recover your libido much more quickly than normal following sex.

On the negatives I’ve only heard two things to date:

1) The effect is fairly short lived, i.e. you can’t take it all the time, it eventually wears-off (I’m open to debate on this as I’ve never taken it over an extended period).

2) If Estradiol is limited (from using Arimidex etc) in conjunction with prolactin (which in turn lowers estrogen even more), can dangerously lower HDL (good cholesterol).

Dostinex is a great drug! All drugs have all sorts of warnings. Drug companies need to write general warnings like 'liver' etc.. for drugs every though they have never ever caused any sort of medical problem such as for 'liver'. I saw a post of a guy here that used dostinex several years here non-stop. If anything, I think dostinex is one of the last drugs to cause adverse side effects even if used long-term. Some pretty known OTC drugs would probably cause more problems than dostinex could.

64pilot, it's good to hear the dostinex took off youf GH bloat. I've seen it here several guys sayin' it eliminated their GH bloat though if i'm not sure of the exact mechanism.

As for the libido enhancement from Dostinex. I seem to fully agree :) On my last cycle using 175mg of tren eod (which should have killed my sex drive). I actually had much better libido and sexual activity than before the fina. I can only attribute it to Dostinex :blow:

Dostinex lowers prolactin. Prolactin is a secretion that is produced and expelled from the breasts.Somewhat similar as semen is to sperm. High prolactin is due to increased estrogen levels and progesterone levels. If one lowers the prolactin count ultimately the estrogen and progesterone levels lower and the free test has more reign in our bodies to help us to respond sexually. Ina nutshell cabergoline is used to free up testosterone so it can bind properly
