Doing clomid mid cycle

So my buddy got a recommendation to do clomid mid cycle because it will help bring his testicles back.

And he also herd that you only need to weit 1 week after last injection (long ester) to start your PCT


I told him what I think about that but he would also like to hear it from the board.

I got my frying pan out .. have at it.

I would never run clomid mid cycle, only nova. and no if your using a long ester than you wait minimum of 2 weeks after last inj to start clomid. But I usually wait 2 or 3

I agree with that.

IMO clomid is never used mid-cycle. HCG is an option @ 250iu EOD.

Also, when to start PCT depends on the specific substance. (it is all covered in the PCT sticky's in the PCT forum).

Clomid mid-cycle will do nothing for the testicles. During PCT it is used to block estrogen receptors at the hypothalamus to stimulate testosterone productions.

During PCT your testosterone level is almost nil so the approach works. On cycle you probably have at least 10 times the normal amount of androgen running around in your blood so blocking estrogen receptors at that point is like pissing in the ocean; you;ll never be able to increase the level.
