Does zinc help with gyno???

I was chatting with a competitive bodybuilder and he says that zinc naturally helps combat gyno. Has anyone read anything about this?

not directly, though if you are zinc deficient you will get increased aromatase production= more estrogen

Yeah I read a post on this board that it does help combat gyno. Not sure at what dosages though!

probably does more for the prostate than gyno ,i read somewhere that approximately two thirds of the zinc in a mans body is in the prostate , zinc deficiencies cause prostate infections , and dht conversion stresses the prostate also ,zinc is an important mineral for any man period

Research study was done on why alchoholics, and coke addicts tended to have feminine features. What it concluded was that zinc depletion caused naturally occuring test to aromatize at a greater rate, and at lower levels. No studies have been done on exogeneous test, and the effects of excess zinc amounts on aromatization!

I have used zinc to calm itchy nips temporarily, until my nolva arrived and it worked for me, but this is in no wat scientific proof, or am I suggesting that zinc is an anti-E!
