I've read some posts lately that say progesterone based gyno is really caused by estrogen and should be treated the same way as estrogen based gyno. What's the story on this?
No.... It is Progestin that can lead to Gyno. Progestin inhibits Progesterone production. Progesterone is inhibitory to estrogen. Low Progesterone increases estrogenic activity in which the estrogen receptors are up regulated as well.
