Oil from the u.s pretty much looks like tar . In some areas water is mixed in with the oil and a process of seperation is required
then the mountians have oil in the form of shale that has to be heated and compressed to make oil.
a barrel of us crude makes some gas but alot of it makes tar, roofing shingals and peterolium products
Compared to saudi arabias liquid gold that sets the standard for oil supply world wide. The oil is so pure and clean you can dump it straight into a car's engine and it would be fine.It literally floows from the ground with little effort(U.S oil rigs have to use pressure pumps to force the oil up most of the time)
Literally almost no processing needs to be done , plus little steps involved to make gasoline out of it
