Does lotion make you break out?

Will lotion (cocoa butter) make you breakout? I use it after I go tanning to moisturize the skin, but does the skin need to be dry to get the effects that tanning gives to your skin that makes you not break out as much?

anykind of oil based lotion makes me break out...i cant put it on my face or my back and chest

Some lotions do to me as well. Body lotions have chemicals in them that you may be allergic to. Look into non comodogenic and hypoallerygenic lotions Three brands come to mind lubriderm, aveeno, or cetaphil that have both properties

It totally depends on your skin bro...i know some guys that pack on the lotion no problem..i myslef cant..even Aveno doesnt help..mostly my arms though...its like they just clog up the pores upon contact...funny thing is that when i scrubb them in the shower and just dry them they itch..so i place lotion on them and i break out..go figure..

if you normally have adult acne, without the use of induced steroid acne, you'll breakout with lotions. I am - WAS this way until I ran a 6month cycle of accutane at 80mgs a day. It totally changed the way skin reacted to everything. Dried me out, and physically shrank the oil glands and corrected the pores. Accutane is a wonderful medicine and would recommend this for adult acne and lotion reactions.

If it clogs your pores you could break out.

how toxic to the liver is accutane? Its been a while since I've read on it, but I believe it is fairly toxic. guess you could throw some tyler liver detox and some other liver health stuff in there. Did you get a script or just order online. I'd be interested if you could get it with out a script. The last year, I have frequent break outs. During puberty I never had pimples now I get monsters on my face after I shave. I use alcohol right after I shave and it still is bad.

Nah , it's just a contact allergy. If you are sensitive to many chemicals in topical OTC drugs then a good place to go is the allergy store and pick up some lotions that are free of those drugs and are made from organic components

Nah , it's just a contact allergy. If you are sensitive to many chemicals in topical OTC drugs then a good place to go is the allergy store and pick up some lotions that are free of those drugs and are made from organic components

So if im not breaking out immediatly after I use it, then im fine and just getting zits that I normall would get (if I get any at all)
